Introducing Uniden’s latest in smart security cameras, The new App CAM SOLO X Series. The Guardian App Cam Solo X2K Bullet Kit is a Super HD Smart security WiFi camera and Power Spotlight in one. This Pack is equipped with a Solar Panel for Non-Stop Charging during Daylight allowing your camera to always be charged.
The new App Cam SOLO X2K Bullet Kit, now captures in 2K Super HD Resolution for crystal clear vision with live streaming in more detail. The camera is a 100% wire-free, rechargeable, solar powered, spotlight and security camera in-one. The compact device can be placed anywhere around the home exterior to keep watch day and night. Designed for Australian homes and weather conditions, the App Cam SOLO X2K Bullet Kitcan withstand exposure to the elements to continuously and reliably capture footage with a 120-degree wide viewing angle. The addition of the spotlight allows users to better see the appearance of anyone approaching the property, while also acting as an effective deterrent to unwanted visitors. The 2K Super HD resolution delivers exceptional clarity together with the built-in spotlight, adds colour to the night vision footage up to 10 metres away to ensure a high-quality image. The Included Uniden Solar Panel (SPS-X) can be used alongside the camera, positioned for optimal sunlight exposure. The solar panel recharges the App Cam SOLO X2K Bullet Camera, while providing non-stop power during daylight hours, allowing footage to be recorded and viewed without the risk of draining the battery. Users can easily facilitate contactless delivery to their home. The Uniden App Cam SOLO X2K Bullet Kits provides visual verification of when items are at the door, with the added benefit of two-way talk to provide further instruction to couriers, trades and other visitors. Users can seamlessly integrate INTO their existing smart home setup. Live and recorded footage can be viewed using the MY Uniden PLUS APP via a smart device, securely accessed from anywhere in the world. Footage can be stored directly to SD card or the Uniden Cloud ensuring important moments are captured and available to replay when required. The camera includes all the App Cam features, such as Thermo Sense Technology detecting body heat and movements for minimum false alerts, two-way talk functionality, intelligent alerts and notifications and remote viewing. Importantly, Uniden offers free seven days of free rolling cloud backup for the lifetime of this product, so there are no hidden costs with subscriptions. Motion Detection: Motion detection can be triggered by the PIR sensor in the camera. The PIR sensor only detects objects with heat up to 10 metres away and in the line of sight. At night, or in darkness, monitor motion detection sensitivity is not as effective as in daylight hours, as it relies on night vision capabilities. ∆ Subscription needs to be renewed every month. Normally the new batteries for App Cam Solo can last: Stand-by: 6 months, based on 1 Detection A Day. Constant working: 11 hours for day session or 6 hours in night mode. Working duration of batteries from different brands may be different.
What is the battery life?
The battery's life depends on if it is working in daytime or at night. It can work about 650 mins at daytime and 400 mins at night.
Can I power off the camera? How do I do so?
There is no power button on the camera or power off option in Uniden Solo App. If you want to power off the camera, please take out all the batteries.
Can I replace the SD card? What is the maximum SD card storage supported?
It is advisable to use SD card rated for surveillance purpose and the maximum storage supported is 256GB.
Do I need to use a micro SD card?
If you don't use a micro SD card for this camera, you can save recordings manually via the mobile APP which will reduce the life of the battery. If the camera works with an SD card, when the camera detects the motion events, it will automatically save the recordings to the SD card. So we recommend using a micro SD card.
Can APP CAM Solo X2K Camera record to its SD card without a WiFi connection?
Yes, this camera can record motion detection to SD card without a WiFi connection, but you need to activate this camera via WiFi or hotspot when you first get it.
