Designed for trailer boats, kayaks, jet skis, powerboats and yachts, the MHS129 provides ship-to-ship and ship-to-shore voice communication within VHF radio range. It communicates directly over marine VHF radio, without depending on mobile phone reception.
Selectable 5W and 1W transmission power
Choose 5W transmission when higher output is needed, or select 1W for nearby communication to help conserve battery power. The selectable output gives you a practical way to match the radio to the situation.
IP67 protection for wet conditions
The MHS129 is rated IP67 for dust and water protection. With all fittings secured, its waterproof rating covers immersion in water to a depth of 1 metre for 30 minutes.
Whether spray comes over the bow or water splashes onto your equipment, it is built with the marine environment in mind.
Up to 19 hours of operating time
A supplied 2500mAh rechargeable lithium-ion battery delivers up to 19 hours of operating time. Actual battery life varies with transmission time, settings and operating conditions.
USB Type-C charging and an included charging cradle make recharging part of your usual trip preparation.
Keep track of important channels
Dual Watch monitors your current channel and an instant priority channel, while Memory Scan searches saved channels for activity.
USA, International and Canadian marine VHF channel groups provide further flexibility when the appropriate group is selected for your location.

Weather Scan and Weather Alert functions are also included, subject to compatible broadcasts and regional service availability.
