
Uniden Australia has announced a new partnership with Australian charity Drive Against
Depression (DAD), supporting the organisation’s mission to reduce the stigma around mental illness and foster meaningful community connection through a shared passion for cars and driving. With more Australians recognising the importance of early intervention and honest
conversations around mental health, the partnership aims to help create welcomingenvironments where connection can lead to meaningful change.
This collaboration will see Uniden Australia support Drive Against Depression to deliverautomotive events and initiatives across the country, creating safe, stigma-free opportunities for conversations about mental health. Throughout 2026, the partnership will further enable DAD’s
ongoing program of community events and awareness-building initiatives.Drive Against Depression is a growing Australian charity with a clear purpose to bring people
together through their mutual love of motoring, using drives and unique automotive experiences
to build community, strengthen support networks and remove barriers to professional help. DAD supports mental wellbeing through the freedom of driving, while creating judgement-free occasions that can lead to an improvement in help-seeking behaviour. To date, DAD has directlyimpacted more than 5,000 Australians, with that number continuing to grow as the organisation expands its reach across the country.
